Project description: The project targets the most vulnerable populations affected by the Syria crisis in Northern Lebanon close to the Syrian border including both Syrians and the local host community. The rehabilitation of the water network and drainage systems ensures access to a sufficient quantity of safe water for drinking, cooking as well as personal and domestic hygiene. Life skills training, socio-economic empowerment for women, psychosocial support and a referral mechanism help strengthening the resilience of refugees and the Lebanese host community.
